Making high-quality coffee is not that different from making a good wine. With Singular's signature Brazilian coffee, we use only the best beans possible, from a cooperative of farms from one specific land area. They are hand-picked and master roasted locally, leaving you with a dark roast coffee that has a multitude of flavours, aftertaste and originality.

This Catuai coffee has many of the characteristics we look for in high-quality Brazilian coffee, with flavours of dried cherry, almond, and dark chocolate. These flavours are further enhanced by the high altitude at which the coffee is grown, 1100 masl, which is unusual for farms in Brazil. The coffee works well with a range of brew methods, from a thick and syrupy espresso to a bold and nutty filter coffee or in a cappuccino.

Our producer Paubrasil ensures traceability of each of its containers of coffee back to the specific farm(s) where it was grown. The coffee is also certified by the Regiao Cerrado Mineiro Designation of Origin program, which provides transparency in its production process. Coffees certified with the Designation of Origin are grown on farms in an area encompassing 55 municipalities that produce coffees with a unique identity, resulting from the combination of climate, soil, terrain, elevation, and the “know-how” of producers.

The coffee is harvested in late July 2022 and expertly roasted to perfection in Stockholm by Alexander Ruas @ Standout Coffee. Being quite passionate consumers of Coffee, let’s just say we have met our match (and it’s one made in heaven).

Singulars coffee honors the general process of all quality coffee and does not over-roast the beans, resulting in a slightly lighter roast level than some might be used to (to not damage the taste notes of the beans).

Made in Brazil by Standout Coffee exclusively for Singular Society.
