This beautiful wine opener made from 18/10 stainless steel and pakkawood will turn your wine bottle opening into a pure joy. The Wine Opener Pakka Wood is a waiter’s corkscrew enhanced with a double lever, which simply means that you remove the cork in two steps. No more crumbled corks or strained muscles from pulling to hard. On the side you will find a foil cutter you can use to remove the foil that protects the cork.

The Singular wine opener is made from the highest quality: 18/10 stainless steel is an alloy of iron that is resistant to rust and corrosion. The handle is made from pakkawood – an engineered composite made using thin layers of wood veneer assembled in layers under high pressure with an epoxy resin. When cured and machined, pakkawood has the visual appearance of solid wood but with the benefit of superb water resistance and stability.

We could not be any prouder of our collaboration with Swedish kitchen equipment experts Dafra, and British manufacturer Taylor’s Eye Witness, founded in a small pocket knife and edge tools workshop in the very heart of Sheffield in 1820, the ancestral home of cutlery in Great Britain. As was normal back then, makers would seek the use of a symbol by which their products would be recognised, even by those unable to read. In 1838 Taylor was granted the ”Eye Witness" trademark for his goods, hence the Eye Witness name that exists to this day. Taylor’s Eye Witness are legendary knife makers with 180 years of experience and a tireless passion to continue to develop the best knives in the world.
