This 3-ply, stainless steel roasting rack is easy to use and fits perfectly with your oven roaster. It allows for air circulation around the meat so it cooks evenly rather than letting the bottom of the meat stew in its own juices. Roasting is the most common cooking method for large cuts of meat or a whole chicken. Put the meat in a pan and place it in the oven until it’s cooked. Sounds easy, right? But at some point throughout history, someone discovered that if you set meat directly in a pan, it will taste different than if you set it in something that holds it above the bottom of the pan. The roasting rack was born.
