The Shearling Aviator Jacket is our latest limited edition drop addition – a true classic that feels like a warming, solid hug that you never want to let go. The aviator jacket first saw it's light during World War I. The planes did not have an enclosed cockpit and the pilots needed something to keep them warm, so the U.S army set up the Aviation Clothing Board, and the warm fur lined heavy-duty leather flight jacket took form.

This archetypical piece has a generous fit, without being oversized. Semi matte lambskin with lamb shearling lining, and pocket bags in lamb leather with inside made of cotton twill. The jacket has two wide top applied welt pockets at the front, and two inside pockets. A chunky 2-way metal zip and zip shield on the inside for extra comfort. Honoring the original, we've made a jacket that will keep you warm when the cold wind is blowing. Care for it and it will last for generations.
