Introducing: The Sunday dinner pot

Cookware

Sometimes you feel the love. Sometimes you can’t stand hearing your uncle’s old jokes. But it’s life. It’s where families thrive. It’s Sunday dinner.

We know, the concept of a once-a-week-family-meal sometimes seems like a Sopranos utopia. We all have busy lives – errands to run, screaming kids, work, conflicts… Who manages (and not everyone even wants…) to gather the whole family every weekend? Especially nowadays when we’re not even allowed to meet our elders IRL. But new times are coming. And what periods of turbulence hopefully teaches us is that these moments together aren’t guaranteed, that loneliness is a real bummer. So, if you didn’t have the Sunday dinner tradition in place before, now (or soon :) is a good time to start. Aim for at least three generations at the table, and make sure to bring some friends as well. The more, the merrier.

To help you cook for your new (or resumed) tradition we’ve created both a massive Nordic oakwood cutting board, great for chopping anything from veggies to meat, and the perfect hand cast aluminium pot. Throw what you want in it… stews, whole chicken, baked ziti, pulled pork or ratatouille. The pots come in two sizes (6 and 11 liters) and are made of industrial grade aluminium with an extra thick bottom (10 mm) that helps create an even heat distribution. They’re topped off with a layer of titanium oxide, an anti-corrosion layer, a ceramic layer and last but not least – a unique extra thick PFOA Free non-stick layer that assures your food ends up where it should. And, on the note of food. It doesn’t really matter what you eat, or how you cook it. The important thing is that you sit together.

Hand Cast Aluminium Pot (6 or 11 liters)
We could not be prouder of our collaboration with Swedish kitchen equipment experts Dafra, and AMT, our German manufacturers who handmade the pots in a process that spans three days. The pots work on all heat sources, including ovens, are machine washable and entirely recyclable.
