Take care of your knitwear
Caring for your cashmere and merino wool pieces is as important as selecting them. Hanging out your knitwear in the fresh air will often do the trick, but if you need to clean your product, always use Delicate/Wool & Cashmere detergents. Hand wash is preferred, or you can wash with your machine's wool program, 30 degrees max, short washing and no centrifuge or tumble drying.
Avoid wringing or stretching and dry flat. To avoid pilling, use a cashmere comb, and when it comes to storage, opt for folding over hanging.
You can also use cedar wood balls as a natural protection from insects and moths while regulating moisture in your wardrobe. Place them in drawers, pockets, shoes, or corners.
