The aviator jacket first saw its light during World War I. The planes did not have an enclosed cockpit and the pilots needed something to keep them warm, so the U.S army set up the Aviation Clothing Board, and the warm fur lined heavy-duty leather flight jacket took form. This is a true classic, and just like the original we have made a jacket that will keep you warm when the cold wind is blowing. This archetypical piece has a relaxed fit, without being oversized. The generous cosy collar can be folded around the neck and closed with a strap to give warmth for extra cold days. Semi matte lambskin with lamb shearling lining, fluffy sleeves cuffs and pocket bags in lamb leather with inside made of cotton twill. The jacket has two wide top applied welt pockets at the front, and two inside pockets with press button closure. A chunky 2-way metal zip with generous leather zip pullers and zip shield on the inside for extra comfort. Tonal taping, and deco stitch detail at collar stand as well as zip shield. This one of a kind jacket is like a warming, solid hug that you never want to let go.
